Congratulations on your pregnancy, what a special and exciting time for you. My name is Alana and I offer antenatal, labour/birth and postnatal services. I believe childbirth is a normal life event and as such women should feel empowered during their maternity experience. I enjoy working in partnership with women and their families, encouraging and supporting informed choice and consent. I am passionate about women’s health and facilitating women to birth physiologically where possible, that said I have experience working in Auckland City Hospital’s high risk delivery unit and am well prepared to recognise and support women whose journeys become more complicated.

I work in a supportive practice with like-minded midwives and hold a clinics in Cambridge and at Tokoroa Birthing centre.
