Amelie Jennings
About me
Kia ora and congratulations to you and your whānau!
My name is Amelie. I was raised as a farm girl in a small town in Te Tai Tokerau, and now work as a midwife based in South Auckland. I love to spend my time in nature, swimming, hiking, and all the rest! My whānau are my favourite people in the world and my biggest supporters. I bring this kaupapa into my mahi, as I'm passionate about providing whānau-centred and holistic care throughout your hapūtanga (pregnancy).
I will provide care for you and your pēpi throughout pregnancy, labour, and birth, and up to six weeks afterward. I advocate for protecting physiological birth, so I offer to support births at your home or at Nga Hau birthing centre. If things pop up along the way, I will continue supporting you to birth at Middlemore Hospital.
I run my antenatal clinics at Nga Hau birthing centre on Wednesdays. If you think we'd be a good fit, please reach out. I'd love to hear from you.
You can get in touch via my email (amelie.midwifenz@gmail.com) or by filling out the form below.
Please include as much information as you'd like to share!
Pregnancy visits will be held at
14 Waddon Place, Mangere, Auckland 2022
