I’m Annie Menzies; I originally trained and worked as a registered nurse, predominantly in paediatric care before completing my midwifery training in 1995 and completing my BHSc (Midwifery) qualification in 1997. I am married to Keith and am a mother of two teenage boys.

I have been a practising midwife for 25 years and I am very fortunate to be working within a group of fabulous midwives. Our clinic is in Green Bay and I am happy to provide care for women in the West to Central Auckland areas who choose to birth at home or Waitakere Hospital.

I love being a midwife and feel very privileged to be part of such a special time in a woman's life. I take a holistic approach to midwifery and am committed to providing safe, positive care to women of all cultures. I will always make the appropriate referrals to other health professionals focusing on you and your baby’s wellbeing. My role is to ensure the best outcome for you and your baby.
