Hi there and congratulations on your pregnancy! I’m Brittany, an LMC midwife working alongside a group of experienced midwives at Heretaunga Midwifery Centre. I am passionate about supporting women and their families working in partnership to achieve a safe and healthy pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience. My aim is to empower women and help create a positive journey into motherhood. As a mother myself, I feel extremely privileged to walk alongside you and your whānau. I support normal physiological birth, encouraging women to trust their bodies and the birthing process, collaborating with other healthcare professionals where appropriate. I provide clinic antenatal care and will visit you at home postnatally for up to 6 weeks. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
