I work to keep birth as normal as possible and believe that by empowering woman normal birth is a normal life event.

I achieve this by working within a partnership with all woman throughout allowing informed choice, consent and relevant information during the journey.

Partners and family are encouraged to be involved.

I spent four years working in a primary and secondary environment as core staff at North-Shore and Waitakere hospitals before embarking on LMC practice, and I feel this balance allows me to recognise and support women when the journey changes along the way.

I have four grown daughters and four grandchildren and work with a supportive like minded midwifery partner.
