Kia Ora and Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Courtney and I am a Midwife in the Te Awamutu region. I am passionate about providing holistic midwifery care that accentuates your wants and needs throughout your pregnancy, birth and early postnatal period, offering free Maternity Acupuncture as part of my practice for women who choose it. My philosophy encompasses childbirth as a normal, yet amazing life event that I believe should be an empowering experience. Being married with two young children myself, whānau is such a huge part of my life, and I endeavour to create a supportive environment for you and your growing family.

I work very closely with my back-up midwife, Precious Lopena, to ensure that I also have time off with my family. Together we service Te Awamutu, Hamilton and surrounding areas. I am excited to walk alongside you throughout this journey, to provide you with evidence-based research, partnership and empowerment to make informed decisions, as you grow as a mother and family.
