Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy! It is such a privilege to work with women and their whānau. I take on a small caseload of women each month. My philosophy is to provide holistic and physiological care that is evidence based, in order for you to be able to make informed choices and achieve the experience you want. I will support you to birth in the environment of your choice whether this be at home, in our primary unit or at Wellington Hospital. I am committed to providing safe maternity care and encourage women to birth locally if suitable. I am happy to support the use of water and other complementary therapies, as well as learn about any birthing traditions that are important to you. Postnatal visits are in your home or at a location of your choice. I am lucky to be part of Nikau midwives, based on the Kāpiti Coast, and have their awesome support providing back up.
