Congratulations on your hapūtanga! Ko Ngāpuhi me Ngāti Raukawa ahau. I am blessed to be supported in this mahi by my whānau and colleagues.

I am fiercely passionate about Māori women's health. Due to the limited number of Māori midwives I must prioritise the care of whānau Māori and reserve availability each month for those choosing to birth at home.

Each new pregnancy is an opportunity for you to wananga with your pēpi, to remind yourself of your intrinsic mana & to reclaim birth practices that are unique to your whānau. I am confident in birth as a normal, natural, whānau centred process. I find joy in providing a safe & excellent standard of midwifery care, working within my scope of practice & sharing information that upholds oranga. I will support you to lead the decision making in your care, even in rare circumstances when things don’t go to plan!

I look forward to working with you and your whānau.

Please TEXT or email with your name, the month you are due, what number baby this is for you, where you live and where you would like to give birth. I try to respond within a day (weekdays only) unless with a birthing Māmā or catching up on sleep! I am taking time off for my whānau in June 2024. Ngā mihi!
