Congratulations on your pregnancy! Kia Ora, my name is Dena, and I am a LMC midwife in the South Auckland area. My philosophy is that birth is a normal, natural occurring event and therefore provide a focus on primary care for women who have an uncomplicated pregnancy and wish to birth at Nga Hau Mangere Birthing Centre or Papakura Birthing Unit.

I am committed to ensuring the well-being of you, your baby, and your whānau throughout this incredible journey. I prioritise safe practices, informed consent, and establishing a secure and trustworthy partnership with each whānau I support. I provide continuity of care which means I will care for you during your pregnancy and be on-call for your labour and birth. I hold a clinic every Monday at Papakura Birthing Unit.
