Lina Tangata-Tearetoa
About me
Kia Orana.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Lina and I am of full Cook Island descent.
I was born in New Zealand and can speak fluent English but I can also understand and translate our Reo Kuki Airani when needed. I am fortunately blessed with four children who have been my driving force and biggest support in my midwifery journey.
I understand that pregnancy can be a challenging yet wondrous experience but I also believe that with culturally safe practices and continuity of care, women can have a much more positive experience. I run my clinic out of MaxCare Clinic in Otahuhu, every Tuesday.
My philosophy consists of providing culturally safe maternity care to Pasifika women, their pepe/s and families throughout their pregnancy, birth and in the postnatal period.
If you would like me to be your midwife, I would be extremely honoured to be a part of your pregnancy journey.
You can contact me by filling in the enquiry box below and I will reply as promptly as I can.
Please include your full name, due date and your best contact number.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
