Congratulations. I can still remember the first time I held my daughter in my arms, the intense love I felt for her. She is a grown woman now but the experience and joy of birthing her is still very much with me. I support women to birth naturally, surrounded by family and friends in a calm and positive atmosphere. I encourage the use of water for labour and birthing because I know how calming and relaxing warm water can be, but if water isn't your choice then I am keen to encourage active positions and mobilisation to achieve a natural birth.
