I qualified as a nurse and midwife in Ireland and moved to New Zealand 2004. Since living in New Zealand I have worked on the Maternity Ward and Birthing Suite in Christchurch Womens Hospital for over a year before becoming an Independent Midwife in March of 2007. I am married and have 2 beautiful children Ruarc and Solara. I try to balance having a full time case load of 5-6 women a month with regular time off to spend with them. I enjoy working within a supportive practice of professional experienced Midwives called "Midwives on Durham".

I love working with women becoming new mums and aim to provide optimal care for women during their special time.
