Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy. It's such a special time.

I work with a group of midwives - Birth Options in Porirua and my practice partner is Cheryl Lovett. We collectively have 23 years' experience delivering at Kenepuru Maternity, Wellington Hospital or at home.

We do waterbirths in the home and hospital, have women who have had a previous c/section who want a vaginal birth this time or elective c/section after the last c/section.

We have cared for a number of twin pregnancies.

Cherie and Cheryl provide a shared care option as we both of us have children and whanau. You will have two dedicated midwives caring for you - a two for one deal really - so appointments will never be cancelled. We see you in the antenatal period at our clinic in Porirua, then where you choose to have your baby and postnatally for 4-5 weeks in your home after your birth.
