About me
Tēna koe and congratulations on your pregnancy!
I have been a registered midwife for over 10 years and during this time I have had the pleasure of working across a variety of different midwifery settings.
My philosophy is that pregnancy and childbirth are both normal and monumental life events.
Each whānau and pregnancy are unique, and in recognition of this I believe the individual needs of each whānau should be met with respect to their social, economic and cultural context.
I love supporting women and whānau in my community to navigate their childbearing journey, and I am passionate about providing comprehensive midwifery care that is safe, informative, professional and confidential.
I am based in Te Awamutu, covering Waipa, King Country and West Coast regions. I have weekly clinics in Te Kuiti and Te Awamutu.
I work in partnership with my favourite midwife Kelly Heke-Heays! Together we can support each other to take regular time off, while providing continuity of care to our clients 24/7.
