Choosing the right support at this special time is an important part of the journey.

I graduated as a UK trained midwife in 2001. Over the years I have been grateful to work in both big and small hospitals, homebirth, and remote rural settings.

In 2007 I immigrated to NZ with my then young family, and haven't looked back since.

I choose to have a small caseload working in a supportive wider team of 6 midwives.

I work holistically to honour each whanāu's journey, and fully respect informed choice in healthcare. I am a hypnobirthing practitioner, and hold aromatherapy, massage and reflexology diplomas which I add to my kete of midwifery skills as wanted.



I generally book well women PLANNING TO BIRTH AT HOME OR BIRTHING CENTRE. However, if circumstances change through pregnancy I will support and continue care for women that need more complex care with the support of the obstetric team. I do provide epidural care if need arises.

If you are wanting a hospital birth I can recommend many of my colleagues that do mostly hospital births, or the hospital team of midwives if you can not find a community based LMC midwife.
