Kia Ora and congratulations on your pregnancy, thank you for considering me to join you on your journey. I am Sarah, a midwife based in the Hutt Valley. I grew up in Lower Hutt and I am so excited to be working in this community.

I believe that pregnancy, birth and early parenthood is such an important and transformative life stage and I am honoured to be able to work with whānau as they experience this special time. I aim to work closely with all whānau in a safe, inclusive and personalised manner to provide individualised care. I believe informed consent is at the basis of my care philosophy and look forward to working with you in partnership.

I aim to provide evidence based care that reflects pregnancy and birth as normal life stages, using medical intervention when needed. I work with a fantastic team of midwives called Mamaku, we are based in the hills of Naenae. I hold clinics on a Thursday. I support births at home, in Lower Hutt Hospital and also in Kenepuru primary unit.
