Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Hannah Bowden, I am a mother of two children and am working as a midwife in the Mid-Canterbury/Ashburton area.

I am passionate about midwifery and about women experiencing quality individualised care throughout their childbirth journey.

I provide continuity of care, so that this enables me to support a woman and her family throughout the woman's antenatal, labour/birth and postnatal period to see this journey as a significant and normal life event.

My main focus is to support well women to birth at Ashburton Maternity Centre or at home.

I am also passionate about waterbirth.

I also provide care for women requiring postnatal only care.
