Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a Pasifika midwife of Tongan and Cook Island descent. I work as part of the Niu Life Midwives group supporting Pasifika women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour and birth and up to 6 weeks after the birth of your baby.

We have a clinic based in Papatoetoe. I and 3 other Pasifika midwives share our caseloads and will provide care from early pregnancy to up to 6 weeks.

Sharing a caseload with our team means you will be cared for by us throughout your journey and will not be handed over to the hospital as we provide secondary care and go to theatre with you if the need arises.
