Kai ora, my name is Iessa Clarke.

I am a registered midwife and I live and work on Waiheke Island. I have worked both as an LMC and a hospital midwife.

I am now working as an LMC with another midwife on the motu Rachael Macdonald.

Rachael and I can look after you and your pēpi for your pregnancy, birth and the six weeks following your birth.

We can support you to birth at home, Auckland hospital, or Birthcare Parnell.

I believe that the role of a midwife is to be with the birthing person and their whānau in ways that are supportive of their culture and ways of being.

I believe in supporting you to make choices around your parenting journey. I strive to do this through providing you with information and knowledge and encouraging you to intuitively decide what is right for you.
