Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Jacki, I am a registered midwife who lives in Otaki. I provide midwifery care to the Horowhenua region. I provide care for women wanting to birth at Horowhenua Birthing Unit or in their homes from Otaki, Levin, Foxton, Shannon to everywhere in between. I take on only a small caseload of three to four women a month to be able to balance my time and provide care to women within my community. I am also happy to provide postnatal only care and care for women having elective caesarean sections. I do feel that every woman deserves good care and support during her maternity experience and I enjoy working with women and their families in a time of huge change. I work within an extremely supportive group of four. I run clinics out of Levin Maternity and postnatal home visits. For Otaki clients I do all home visits.
