My name is Jen, I have been a midwife for around 7 years now, in between raising my own two children. Prior to becoming an LMC in Pukekohe, I was employed by the DHB and worked between Pukekohe Maternity Unit and Birthing and Assessment at Middlemore.

There is so much to learn and many decisions to be made as you navigate through your journey to parenthood. I love supporting parents to make them feel empowered and safe. Sharing Midwifery information with you, enabling you to make informed decisions and choices for you and your family, is something I am very passionate about.

I primarily provide Midwifery care at Pukekohe Maternity or at home. However, I understand that sometimes things can deviate from normal. If this occurs during your journey, I will do my best to attend Middlemore and provide care for you.

It is such a privilege to be a part of Franklin Midwives, and to be able to provide midwifery care and to support women and their families in our community. Due to the 24/7 nature of Midwifery, our team work well together to provide support for our women and for each other, which in turn enables us to take alternative weekends off to help us maintain a good work/life balance.
