I believe pregnancy is a unique event in life, which should be respected, nurtured and protected and requires no intervention if progressing normally. I also believe that every woman is unique and therefore has unique needs, determined not only by her physical needs but also her ethnic, cultural and social circumstances. My aim is to ensure my midwifery care is sensitive, appropriate and accessible to women. Hence I believe in working in partnership with women, building relationships fostered by trust and respect, and empowering and supporting women to make informed decisions, so as to maximise their journey into parenthood.
