My name is Joy Wadham and I am an LMC midwife based on the Miramar Peninsula in Wellington.

I am passionate about partnering with women to allow them to have a positive, safe and empowering birth experience. I have many years of experience working in Wellington Hospital and have worked with a private obstetrician.

I encourage all my clients to attend antenatal classes and breastfeeding classes as it is important to me that my clients are well informed of all their options.

I am also passionate about supporting women to breastfeed successfully.

I am a Christian, and am married to Sam, a Barrister & writer among many other things. We have two little boys, one cute fluffy dog and one black and white cat.

Antenatal appointments take place at one of my clinics - Wednesday morning in Strathmore Park or Friday mornings in the CBD - earliest appointment being 9:30am. I will visit you at home postnatally.
