I am excited to be returning as a lead maternity carer as of June 2024 after working within a different space for the past few years.

I have been a Registered Midwife for over 16 years, I am also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & a mother of two teenagers.

My philosophy surrounding child birth is that birth is a normal, very special & significant life event. My role as a midwife is to work in partnership with the birthing person & their family to ensure a positive pregnancy, birth & postnatal experience.

My area of expertise is providing care to women birthing at home or the birthing centre, but I also look after women in the hospital setting too. For more complex pregnancies I refer & work in consultation with other health professionals in order to ensure safe outcomes for birthing people & their babies.
