Hi, my name is Karen Lash and I have been an LMC midwife since graduating with a Bachelor of Midwifery in 2004 from Massey University. I run my clinic on Wednesdays from 8.30 til 4 .

I respect the unique physical, emotional, social and cultural characteristics of each woman and her birth experience. I foster the belief that pregnancy and birth are normal physiological processes to be respected and supported. I support the judicious use of intervention and technology when necessary to ensure healthy outcomes for women and babies. I aim to provide education and counselling to empower women to make informed choices, thereby assuming responsibility for their health and the health of their newborns.

I am also happy to provide postnatal care for women who are booked with the hospital midwifery team if you require a named postnatal midwife. I am also happy to provide full care for women wanting to birth via elective cs
