Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Kathy and I am a registered midwife providing care for women living in the Katikati area. I am passionate about midwifery and dedicated to providing professional, supportive, non-judgmental, individualised midwifery care throughout your pregnancy, birth and up to six weeks after the birth of your baby. My aim as a midwife is to help facilitate a safe and empowering experience and I feel an important part of this process is informed choice and information sharing enabling each woman to make the decisions which are best for her and her baby. I work within a well-established practice with 4 experienced midwives who share similar philosophy and passion. I am married and have 3 teenagers so take a small caseload of 4 women a month. I am originally from the UK but have now been living in NZ for 20 years and just adore my adopted country! I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you and your family/Whānau during this exciting time!
