Kia Ora. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a Gore based registered midwife who has been providing care locally since graduating in 2016. I live with my husband and two young children and am passionate about providing individualised care to women in our rural community. I love working with families, both in the community as an LMC, and also as a core midwife in our Primary Birthing Unit at Gore Hospital. I work alongside women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period by empowering them to make informed choices and decisions that ensure the best possible experience for both Mum and baby. I support waterbirth, primary birth in Gore, and for complicated pregnancies, I also support birth at Southland Hospital. I believe in finding the right midwife that supports a partnership with open communication, continuity of care, and ultimately women's choice. I am proudly supported by my midwifery colleagues at Māruawai Midwives, and am excited to hear from new and returning women.
