About me
Congratulations on your hapūtanga, My name is Kelsey Mitchell and I am a Māori midwife residing in Whangarei (I'm the one on the left in the photo). I have a passion for providing care for whānau during pregnancy, labour and birth and find joy in the ability that whānau have to reclaim their rangatiratanga over their pregnancy, labour and birth space. I am an advocate for homebirth but will also attend hospital births. I have made a conscious decision to only take on whānau to support the high Māori birthing population. I look forward to looking after you and your whānau as you navigate this new journey with your new pēpi.
