Kia Ora, I’m Lara. I have loved being an LMC for the last 17 years, however I have recently also started a new role as a midwife working on the neonatal care unit at CWH. As a result I am currently only able to take on clients if they are planning to have a C-section (although please get in touch if you are are a returning client as we may be able to make a plan!). I work mainly in the Selwyn area as I have clinics located in Rolleston and Darfield. I love my work and I enjoy the challenge of keeping pregnancies, birth and the postnatal period as relaxed and as calm as possible for my clients. Outside of the operating theatre I strongly support birth at primary units and really enjoy water-birthing babies. Due to my NICU commitments I only take a small caseload so apologies if I am full when you enquire.
