How fabulous a new baby is being welcomed into your family. My name is Lisa, and I qualified as a midwife in the UK, where I worked in 3 very busy city hospitals. My own journey into midwifery began when I was cared for by an amazing midwife through my own births. Nine years ago, I emigrated to Papamoa, New Zealand, with my husband and three children. I have worked as a DHB midwife in three hospitals in NZ and have gained my Masters of Professional Practice in 2020. For the past 18 months I have been the midwife manager on Kangaroo Island and Whyalla birthing in South Australia. I have now returned to New Zealand and LMC in 2024 to work in partnership with women during their pregnancy and birth journey. As a community midwife I support home birth, Bethlehem birth centre and hospital births. I am based in Papamoa and cover Papamoa & The Mount and Te Puke. I am looking forward to meeting you, guiding you through your pregnancy and birth journey and helping you make informed choices.
