My name is Lydia Burnett, I am a wife and a mum of two beautiful kids (1yo and 4yo).

I am a new graduate midwife currently in my first year of practice, with ample support from my midwifery mentor and colleagues.

I am passionate about empowering whānau to make informed choices regarding their care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As an LMC midwife, it is my role to provide you with up-to-date information about your care and advocate for your decisions, with the aim of achieving the best possible experience. I provide personalized care tailored to your needs and work in partnership with other health professionals (if/when needed) to ensure a safe outcome for you and your baby.

I work with another midwife called Ashley Webb. We are on call for each other's clients 50% of the time to ensure a healthy work/life balance, this means either one of us will be at your birth.
