I have 30 years experience in midwifery and 43 years as a Registered Nurse. I am currently a self-employed midwife servicing Hamilton and surrounding areas. I work in a supportive partnership with a group of midwives who provide backup for each other during our scheduled time off. My philosophy is to work in partnership with women and their families in a holistic supportive way that empowers women and ensures shared decision making. During my years as a midwife I have worked in a variety of senior positions and gained expert knowledge. Having been a charge midwife for 10 years means that I have worked across all areas of midwifery, antenatal, birthing suite and postnatal care, providing primary and secondary care.

I am a warm, friendly and relaxed family-orientated person, with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I will provide the highest standard of professional care to ensure the best and safest outcome for you, your baby and your family. I always feel privileged and blessed to be a part of your journey.
