Kia ora, my name is Mel and I originate from the UK, but have lived more than half my life in NZ. I have worked both as LMC and Core Midwife within NZ and the UK. I currently work for Te Whatu Ora - Southern but take a small caseload each year. I provide continuity of care (antenatal, labour and birth and postnatal) and believe in and support women's choice and capacity to birth normally.
