My name is Melissa (Mel) and I am a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) based in Hamilton. I have the pleasure of working alongside my practice partner Jessie Te-Uira Whitiora as well as 4 other amazing midwives. Together we are all part of a practice group called Āio Nuku Midwives. Our clinic is based in Hillcrest (167 Cambridge Road). I am passionate about pregnancy and birth and believe that it is a normal life event, trusting in the physiological processes our bodies go through. I am also passionate about providing you and your whānau with all the important information you need to make informed decisions around your pregnancy and birth, all while providing you with care that is individualised to you and your needs. I look forward to supporting you through this important part of your life, whether it is your first or fifth pregnancy.
