Melissa Seed

Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy! I believe pregnancy and childbirth are normal life events and my passion is working alongside women and whānau to ensure the best possible pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience. This includes working in partnership with other health professionals (when required) to ensure a safe outcome for you and your baby. I provide holistic and evidence-based care to low-risk women as well as providing care for those requiring induction of labours, epidurals and caesarean sections. I support women who choose to birth in the water, at Bethlehem Birthing Centre or at Tauranga Hospital. My clinic is based at Leading Midwifery Care on a Tuesday. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your family.

If you are a repeat client - please still touch base via text. I will always try and make a space available for you.

Please feel free to text me or call me during business hours Mon-Fri. Alternatively send me a form below and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. 2025 Update - I'm heading on maternity leave from mid-October to the start of March so will be taking bookings for women due to birth from April 2025 onwards and my colleagues will provide your care until then.
