Congratulations on your pregnancy. If this is your first or tenth baby, they are all special and I view my involvement in your care as a privilege. I also believe that my role is to walk alongside you during your individual journey, supporting emotionally, culturally and spiritually as well as providing current information about your pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal period in an unbiased non-judgmental way.

I view pregnancy, labour and birth as a normal and natural event for the majority. I see my role as your midwife to ensure that mother and baby remain healthy and support you and your family in your birthing choices.

I offer to support your labour and birth at Bethlehem birthing centre and at Tauranga hospital. Working closely with other health professionals such as obstetricians at Tauranga Hospital should your pregnancy journey deviate from the norm.
