Congratulations on your pregnancy, my name is Nicci and I work alongside women and families based in Queenstown and the surrounding local area. I provide women-centred, supportive, evidence-based care that allows you to make informed decisions for your pregnancy journey. My passion is empowering women to birth where they feel safe, through shared knowledge and by providing clinically safe care for you and your baby. If you or your baby require specialist obstetric care, this is completed in collaboration with Invercargill or Dunedin Hospital as required.

Prior to midwifery, I was an employed paramedic delivering babies in a variety of situations and settings. Being a mum myself I understand the privilege of being with families experiencing the joy and excitement of pregnancy and birth. I am fortunate to have provided care for many wonderful families in Queenstown and love seeing them out and about within our community.

I work alongside Keri, Grace and Tomoko, together we make up the small team from Whakatipu Midwives. We are based in Queenstown and offer preconception, antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care. Midwifery care is provided 24/7 as clinically indicated and discussed with you more at the time of booking.
