Hi, I'm Rachael, I moved to NZ from London with my kiwi husband. We have 3 wonderful active sons. I live in Kumeu and enjoy providing midwifery care to the women in this area and surrounding communities; covering most of west Auckland. I believe that childbirth is a natural life event that should ultimately result in empowerment for every woman. Midwifery is unique here in New Zealand with the opportunity to follow my passion and support each woman throughout the child birthing experience, from antenatal, labour, birth and the postnatal period. I am happy to support women who wish for a drug free labour or epidural, water birth or caesarean birth.

I realise that we are all different in culture, beliefs and customs, therefore it is my goal to encompass these differences and incorporate them into each care plan, making care individual to each woman.
