Congratulations! Pregnancy, childbirth and the change it brings can be both exciting and nerve wracking. I feel privileged to support women and their whānau through this time. After the birth of our son I had a career change from Cardiac ICU nurse to Midwife, as I became curious and interested in normal labour and birth. I returned from Auckland to the Bay of Islands in 2021 and am so happy to be back living where I grew up. I work closely with my practice partner, Romany Beaumont, alternating weeks on-call and clinics, so that we can provide the best care to you in a sustainable way for us as midwives. We provide labour and birthing care at Home and at Bay of Islands Hospital. We support women to birth at Whangārei Hospital if medically indicated.
