About me
Kia ora, and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Sarah, and I am a Lead Maternity Carer in Wellington.
Central Wellington is my hometown, and Wellington Hospital holds a special place in my heart as it was where I was born. My goal is to ensure you have all the information and guidance you need throughout your maternity journey.
I offer continuity of care, working with you throughout your antenatal period, during labour and birth, and in the postpartum period for 4–6 weeks after your pēpi (baby) is born.
The practice group I am part of is the Capital City Midwives, where I work alongside four incredible midwives. My antenatal appointments are on a Thursday at Karori Village Health Centre. Street parking is available. Postnatally, I come and visit you and pēpi at your home.
If I sound like the right midwife for you, please email me at sarahcook.midwife@gmail.com. I would love to be part of your birthing experience!
When contacting me, it’s helpful to include:
- Due date

- Any relevant medical history

Look forward to hearing from you.
