Congratulations on your pregnancy! I have a passion for supporting and empowering women/birthing people and their whānau as they navigate pregnancy and welcome a new baby into the world. I work in partnership with you to provide safe, evidence based care throughout your pregnancy, birth and up to 4-6 weeks post birth. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are natural, physiological parts of life. However, I also value the importance of recognising complications of pregnancy and working alongside obstetricians and other health care professionals if these occur. I have three children of my own, who have shaped the way I practice, as I value the impact good midwifery care affected my pregnancies and births.
