At Side by Side Midwifery we believe in providing exceptional holistic care together, for you and your whānau from your first contact with us, throughout your journey of growing, birthing and then nurturing your baby in the early weeks. We support birth at home and at Paraparaumu Maternity Unit. Wāhine/women are strong, and believing in this strength and the natural journey of pregnancy, birth and becoming a parent underpins our practice. We provide care for hapū māmā / pregnant women who live from Pukerua Bay to Ōtaki. If you would like to birth locally, naturally and safely, then come ‘Side by Side’ with us.

As part of our practice, Ange is a qualified lactation consultant, and Sheryl is qualified to provide pregnancy acupuncture.
