Kia Ora and congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Sonia Azizi and I am a registered midwife working with Auckland Maternity Provider. I look after women and their whānau within the Auckland region. I offer continuity of care to women throughout the antenatal period, labour & birth, and postnatally up to 6 weeks as you transition into parenthood. 

My role as a midwife is to empower you throughout this amazing journey, offering you evidence based information and helping to guide you to make the best informed decision for you and your growing family. I am comfortable working at Auckland Hospital or Birthcare.

Prior to becoming a full time LMC, I was involved in research, practised as a clinical charge midwife, and was a student mentor. I have worked across different maternity services throughout my career.
