Kia ora, and congratulations to you on your pregnancy!

I am Sonja, based now in my home town of Te Kuiti. I have previously worked on the Kāpiti Coast for the past 3 years as an LMC midwife. But I am so excited to bring my knowledge and passion back home! My love for midwifery stems from being a part of the growth of new families and navigating them through the journey of welcoming a new baby into their lives.

As your LMC midwife, my mission is to guide and advocate for you and your family through the exciting experiences that pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting bring. My midwifery philosophy is to provide maternity care that is; empowering, safe, holistic, science-based, individual, and determined by you.

Antenatally I see you at TK Centre and postnatally at home. Birthing at home, Te Awamutu Birthing Centre, or Waikato Hospital are all options available to you. I work alongside the wonderful Chenae and Heather who share the same philosophy of care as myself. I look forward to hearing from you!
