Kia Ora! My name is Tayla.

I am a bubbly and chatty person who is looking forward to be able to share my knowledge and passion with you and your whānau throughout your pregnancy journey.

I began my midwifery journey working at Waikato Hospital both in the acute areas and the wards. I have now made the decision to change to working in the community alongside families.

This pregnancy journey can be an exciting, emotional and stressful time. My goal is to create an open, supportive and welcoming environment and provide you up-to-date information and resources so you can make the best decisions for you and your whānau.

I work together with another midwife Xiyan Huang. You will meet both of us during your pregnancy as we work on a week on/week off basis and share our caseload. We can both support you and your whānau to birth at Waikato hospital, Waterford and River Ridge birth centres.
