Kia ora. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm Elaine, a midwife based in Pukekohe, originally from South Africa and a proud mother of two. I am dedicated to providing holistic, women/whānau-centred midwifery care. I’m passionate about supporting parents every step of the way, empowering you with knowledge so you can make informed choices that feel right for you and your family/whānau. I have a particular interest in VBACs. I offer care primarily at the Pukekohe Maternity Unit or home. While I do my best to attend Middlemore Hospital if needed, please note that this may not always be possible. To ensure personalised and attentive care, I keep a small caseload, allowing me to focus on building strong relationships with the families/whānau I support. I’m part of Franklin Midwives, a collaborative team of midwives who work together to ensure balanced care, including taking alternate weekends off for a healthy work-life balance. This teamwork enables us to offer consistent, dedicated care to our community.
