Kātahi ko te reo ō mihi, e whakamānawa ana I tō haputanga – Firstly, congratulations and blessings on your pregnancy. My name is Faith Wikatene and I come from a small village called Paki Paki in Hawke's Bay.

My role as a midwife is to provide continuous primary care throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. My goal is to work in partnership with you and your whānau to achieve an equitable, clinically and culturally safe experience.

My focus is to provide care to Māori and Pacifica māmā and whānau within the South Auckland community. My clinic is run out of Nga Hau Māngere Birthing Centre, every Monday. I work alongside a lovely team of midwives who all share the same values, providing support for each other and the women and whānau we care for.
