Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Mel Nicholson and I am a registered midwife working within Waitematā district. I am a mother of two sons, and love being a midwife. I support birthing at North Shore Hospital, Warkworth Birthing Unit and at home.

My clinics are held at Rodney Coast Midwives, which is located right next door to Warkworth Birthing Unit.

I love working with birthing whānau in a way that will empower them, ensuring you have an informed pregnancy and childbirth experience. My passion is working with you to ensure you can explore all options available to you, which is supported by consultation and referral as required, and I am comfortable providing secondary hospital care.
