Kia Ora, I’m Paris! I am a registered midwife based on the east side, where I live with my husband and two children.

I am passionate about supporting physiological birth and believe that birth is a normal and exciting life event. I provide individualised, evidence-based, and equitable care and believe in creating a strong partnership with you and your whānau in order to best support you during your pregnancy.

My job is to share my knowledge with you, enabling you to make informed decisions that best suit you and your whānau. I work with you to break down any fears around childbirth that you may have, in order to provide a safe and empowering birth experience.

I work closely with my practice partner Tazmin, within our supportive practice Ōtautahi Midwives. Our practice shares a similar philosophy in supporting wāhine to have a normal vaginal birth with minimal intervention, but happy to support when intervention is required, or complexities arise.

I take a small caseload to ensure quality care for you. I hold a clinic on Monday mornings on Manchester Street and on Tuesday afternoons in Parklands and will see you at home postnatally until 4-6 weeks postpartum.
