Kurawaka: Waipapa is a new birthing unit with 4 birthing rooms, all with birthing pools, and 20 postnatal rooms. Ten postnatal rooms have queen beds and ten rooms have a single bed, with a couch for support people to sleep on. We have beautiful whānau rooms both in the birthing space and the postnatal area, as well as assessment rooms and an education room. People are welcome to have a whanau member or support people staying overnight while they are in Kurawaka: Waipapa.
